i think dana is lying , 2 years from now after those contracts are done, strikefore will no longer exist. probably lying to keep the showtime contracts.

He's definitely lying. They said the same thing when they purchased Pride and look how that turned out.. The only thing keeping sf alive is the showtime contract.

i thought fedor announced his retirement officially? i guess i didnt actually hear him say it; just heard it from everyone else. fedor at 205 would be interesting- i wonder how his conditioning would hold up...

After the bigfoot fight he hinted at retirement saying maybe it was time for him to leave the sport. I think he'd like to retire and just lead a normal life but his management keeps riding him to fight on. A few days later he said he would fight again..

really, i think he is just under-sized for an all-out heavyweight anymore. taking on guys so much heavier and bigger, it'll just catch up to you sooner or later. i would love to see him at 205, but like i said, i'd be worried his conditioning wouldnt be there if he cut 30lbs from where he is now. i wonder if he'd get any quicker though? i gues time will tell....

There have also been rumors of starting a 235lb weight class, that would prevent guys that were just a little to big for 205 from fighter these 265lb+ monsters.
I'd like to see a prime fedor take on today's super heavyweights, he was pretty thick back in the day. What can you do though? Everyone gets old sooner or later.
