There isnt shit around here decent for sale, its almost spring and i need something fun. The only fbodys i find are either kinda nice and they want 11k plus or they are stock 98/99 autos with 125k miles and they still want 6k! the only gtos i find are 04s.

whats a matter with the 04 gto?

The 04s only have the ls1, i'd rather have the ls2 in that big of a car. And i dont like the 04 rear bumper.

a lot of people are after the ls2 just like you, therefore you save a lot of money on the 04 and it has just a little bit less horsepower

Meh, that one has too many miles for the price. Im probably just spoiled when it comes to buying fbodys my old 99 had headers, cat back, lid etc for $3800 two years ago altho it was kinda a pos.
My old 02 had 93k miles and stall, lid, headers, etc and i traded my diesel for it (and got ripped i was suppose to get cash and the camaro and extra parts and ended up with just the camaro. I actually traded my 99 and $3k for the diesel in the first place so i had $6800 into it.

I could have bought the 99 back from the guy i traded it to for $2k. He ended up selling it to some guy from des moines for $3k and im pretty sure i saw it on the omaha craigslist last fall for $2500 with a blown trans. Damn that car had a hard life lol.

Ya, that car is worth more being a 6 speed, 02, real SS, and one of the more desirable colors. Sounds like you've come across some good deals in the past though.

I been kicking around the idea of buying a white 94 z28, just needs a new front bumper and fog light, I found a new bumper and ss hood for it for $500 but would need painted. Its completely stock im sure i would just get it mod it a little and sell it in 2 or 3 months.

If it's still for sale I would say the T/A hands down. A few more mods and you'll have a real nasty LS1. The Z28 looks tacky to me with all the billet and I don't like the black wheels on a black car. Dollar for dollar the T/A looks like the better deal.

I'd go with the T/A.
Sounds like it was much more taken care of and has detailed pics.
+ you can't beat the look :)

whats a matter with the 04 gto?
Even the ls2 isn't all that just cause gto weighs a lot.

ls1 gto's look boring as hell on top of being slower. Single exhaust, no hood scoops... might as well of came in off white with steelies.

Only quick way to perk it up is put in 100hp jets w/o doing much work. It needs the tq. buy Kitchs n2o setup.
