Im just in shock, they make it look so easy, i have a feeling the G's are going to win houstons fastest again this year.

3 wide on the highway. all over 1100whp on mild settings. AWD. 1400whp on high boost.

Thats a sweet car, but hes not hooking up on the street, these gallardos are puting 1500whp down on the street and nothing is keeping up. SW's gallardo beat everything at Tx2k9 and that was a fleet of cars, destryed a 190mph traping viper.

But they are still cars you can drive around in like a normal car. That says a lot. Still turn corners, brake well, etc. etc. I agree no match on a drag strip compared to the drag week car (that wastegate fire is nuts) but it's an apples to oranges comparison. At this level you can't have the best of both et and speed.

Kinda was my point, its impossible to have "the fastest street car" because its just a matter of personal opinion.

Not to start a flame war. But I think a street car should have everything intact and just power adders. Have your a/c power steering, full interior, stereo, sound deadening too. Street legal tires that can handle some weather, and corners too. Thats just my opinion on the matter, but if the gallardos have 1500whp i want to drive one.

Agreed... I consider a "street car" to be more or less identical to it's "stock" form to the average person.

the problem with this statement is what if your car never had A/C, powersteering/brakes, stereo, etc? hell, some cars back in the day didnt even have heaters or carpet(got a rubber mat). so should those cars have to add that stuff to be a street car?

Yeah, I mean I feel like my DD civic is a street car and it didn't come with power steering or a/c lol.

yea the garrlodos have stock ECU for drive a bility and run 1 or 2 motec ECU's everythng is left alone. If you didnt know you wouldnt think they were any diffrent from stock.

Depends on how fast the car is. I'd rather not gut the car and lose the a/c and power steering to break into the 12's , if you have to do that then maybe you should rethink your platform choice.

If you run 9's then its understandable if you made some sacrifices.

i'd rather have the lambo for it rarity. although vipers are also pretty rare also.

I can appreciate the awd now. 300-400whp was fine rwd but after I started doing 500+ whp with a light car and 4.10's the lack of traction can get annoying.
