So this kid and his father that me and batwood know have been both riding for abt 6 months now thinking they are the best riders ever... Being that we wanted to find out knowingly that he would he his ass handed to him.... Bike is a 09 zx6r..
IMO it was not bad for being a heavy ass regal.

Thats believeable... that Audi is pretty fast up top.

My Regal was good down low, but nothing near what an 09 ZX6R should be.
I ran 13.0s set up like I was when I raced the bike... he should have been a speck in the distance!

60 because I know if we do 30 like last time I will never real him in on the top end now that he has the turbo, my car works much better up top and his should also, and 60 to 150 isn't that bad... That's what I did with the zx6r I raced

actually not all the odds would be in my favor with that race... they we be just as equally in his favor... we already know what will happen from a 20 roll cause we have done that before... and now with the turbo added it will be a shit show... so why do it? all i want is a more equal race not one stacked in my favor...

and the S4 is not built for the drag strip so i won't go to one...

Sounds to me like you won't participate in a race that the odds aren't in your favor. You can't win from a dig so you become a retard who only roll races.

I hate rolls... I have a 3 speed + overdrive, so I did 30 rolls or nothing.

I'm sure it won't matter as much next year.
Either way, I hit 3rd at about 90mph and going into 4th at full throttle is not good on the tranny.
3rd tops out at about 160ish with my lower gears I think. 4th would be (theoretically) somewhere around 200... lol.

Wasn't it like 30-40 that was a horrible speed to roll race in a GTP/GS? I can't remember anymore but I remember it put you right before a shift and you end up shooting yourself in the foot. Roll racing is gay anyway.

Depending on what gears are in it 30-35 is the sweet spot. It will downshift into first and hold first until about 45-50.
40mph is the worst spot.
When I raced the Audi, from 30 I'd hold him off until about 120. From 40 he passed me so fast it wasn't funny.

I wouldnt doubt you could out pull him from a dig though as long as you didn't blow the tires off launching.

I'm always game for a new race and new video. though i think if he lost a roll race from 30, he will also lose a roll race from 60. we know traction wasn't an issue. derek may have started pulling after batwood's car shifted gears but maybe if they would have kept racing batwood's car would've came back into the sweet spot and derek's car would have to shift next

i can't see how an awd car with unlimited traction would fare better at higher speeds, if anything it should have an advantage at slower speeds when batwood's car could have traction problems

Roll racing isn't bad, I can see it being more fun when you've got decent horsepower/top end to do it. I myself don't mind it, but it sucks less than 40. No traction lol. Batwood's car is decent from a roll. Been there when mine wasn't running the best. lol

As for traction remedies.... I'm getting some QTP's, I bought a Torsen Diff, and also got adjustable tubular control arms. I hope I can hook.

Look derek I'm not trying to give you a hard time, 60 just seems a little high IMO. 10-40 range is usually what makes the most sense, I would think you both could agree on a good spot somewhere in there.

Its running. I put the heads on two weeks ago. Finally got some odds and ends figured out.
Need a tune and a trans. Might drive it around tonight a little.

I'll do two races or three or whatever.
A dig, a 30 roll and then whatever he wants.
I'm not sure how the car will react with all this extra shit, so we'll see. Boost lag shouldn't be a problem though!

Its still supercharged, so that pretty much should kill the lag. 2500 stall.

I haven't gotten on it at all yet. Gonna baby it around till its tuned.

Not completely true, I would gladly race on the street with some Mickey E/T streets on a nice day lol. Too risky with bad weather. But I would say people who only do roll racing, the statement above would be more accurate. Besides, who doesn't like a good drag race every once in a while, shits fun :-)

Im waiting for him to respond back on what all would come with the car. I know the trans already in it has a 1" chain with 3.69s I'd assume the extra is just the chain itself with no gears.
