So Being its cold I had a few things to fix on the viper, you would be shocked at what people do, even so called "awesome" shops. It first started wth a New tune as the AEM pump gas map was shit but the car ran good. Next I fixed all the vacumm mess with new lines, new bracket for the boost controler,New plugs and custo ceramic plug wires, new welded on oil return bungs, new oil return lines, new catch cans (thanks to TAB FAB), to top it off I deep cleaned everything. Heres some garage pics.

are those ball bearing comp turbo you have? how is the spool on twin 71's?
Jappbox

yes its a pain to work on, very limited room. spool is ok, its only a 3" inlet with cast wheels, and big 1.32 ar exhaust housings. Remember it was built for the mile.

well do it this summer for sure, it will be nice video, and hella hits on youtube. My car weighs 3500 with me in it, and makes close to 800/800 on 93. but only tires I can fit are street tires no Drag radials in my size.

Ouch that hurts! I know you probably dont like large sidewalls but Im pretty sure I've seen vipers with 15 or 16" wheels and decent tires on them, that would help tremendously and probably be alot lighter than whats on it now. Sounds like a fun ride though, cant wait to see it in action sometime

What size wheel?
TbTalon94
01-20-2011, 10:31 AM
19" wheel in the back i think, They are one off CCW wheels made by the owner of CCW. They are pretty light as they are, but yea a 16" wheel with a tall side-wall tire would make for a completely different situation on the street!!

The rears on the Cobra are a 315 or 325/30-19 and I cant get a DR in that size either. I found some they make for vetes in 19" but I think they are wider than that or something

my rears are 345/25/20 i know The lambo and supra guys are switching over to toyo R888 i guess they are the best hooking street tire ever. guys are hooking 900whp cars up with no spin. The viper spins a little but that was 55 degree days, i think in the summer she will be fine, the Nitto IVNO tires hook well and the width helps along with the Quife diff.

Vipers seem to hook better than I thought they would. Friend had one in the 750/750 range twin turbo and that thing would just go even in not so optimal conditions. So much torque anywhere, but the rear gears are like 3.0x so that helps with traction. Not a huge rpm monster, but thats just and aftermarket parts bin away and with monster cubes the skys the limit. I just wish I could fit in one.

LOL im not on lambo forums, just supraforums witch they have lambos to, or vipers, the viperyally is very rude. Im hoping i might be able to get a quick ride in a UGR twin turbo lambo at the supra nationals. crossing my fingers since there will be 7 of them there!
