That would be bad-ass to pilot one of those!!!!! I've worked on a helmet very similar to what they would use, or it could be the actual helmet they use for all I know, very very trick shit in that military stuff

i don't like seeing our military screw around. you bank a plane or heli low to the ground like that and mess up there goes 50 million tax dollars and we get told it was an rpg when in reality a 22 year old wanted to play top gun.

I know what you're saying is the truth but I can't bring myself to say it because I like watching the vids to much.
Along the same lines, I just heard on the radio this morning that the Air Force is investigating the pilots that did the flyover at the Iowa/Ohio State game this year. They "believe" the pilots flew to low over the stadium. The Air Force says they were required to have 1000 ft of altitude. Heres some video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmEF6M1t-DE The flyover happens about the 1:00 mark. Also, the press box is just 137 ft tall according to KCRG.
On a personal note, I was there about halfway up the visitors sideline and it was badass.

I disagree. You look at how many billions of dollars worth of aircraft sit in fields rotting away now, 1 of those wouldn't put a dent in it. Its hard to honestly expect an army comprised of young adults to be mature 100% of the time in the face of war. They put their lives out there, I think they deserve some fun.
BTW here's a sick chinook landing

50 million is a small price to pay for freedom. I dont think that our servicemen should be criticized for relieving stress in a war zone when I'm sitting here enjoying what they fight for and risk their lives for.
billions of dollars are wasted on much more trivial things IMO

I am deeply greatfull for these men's service. I don't have a problem with the military buying aircraft, its just is pointless to screw around with other people's lifes and aircraft that doesn't belong to them. some of these youtube videos of the military personel screwing around and don't respect the time and money and resources that are sacrificed .

Both of those happened in training exercises. As tragic as they are, I still can't see a zero failure rate ever being expected. Hell, even the thunderbirds fuck up. People die in racing too, but we still watch it. Thats life. Humanity has a tendency to push the limits, they are going to bite back sometimes. When they do bite back its tragic. For the times it doesn't though, its awesome. Not saying you're right or wrong, I completely understand what you're saying; I just don't agree.
