X2, Fd's are farrrrr cleaner and all around nicer imo

Wow. One of the nicest builds ive seen. On the subject of the rx7s i have to say i like them but i view them as unique a swap as say a 4g63 colt. Which still very cool but i dont cream over the idea. Although this build does earn some creaming!!

IDK... FD's just look like the offspring of a Celica and a Supra. I don't dislike like them, I just don't really like them. Like a Supra, yeah, they are nice cars, they have a lot of potential but they just don't "do it for me" for one reason or another.

all other things being equal, I'd take an FC over an FD any day.

FD with LS1 is how the car should have came lol.

That swap is one of the cleaner ones i've seen and props to the guy for doing all the work himself and in his garage. One HELL of a lengthly build thread though!

The FD was designed before the mkIV Supra, and was designed in America, so really they have only typical 90's styling in common if any. The car was originally designed after Jaguars (jaguar d-type, e-type and xk8).

FC and Supra are so similar I confuse them often.

I am not saying that one was designed after the other or anything like that. I am just saying that personally, I think if an Supra and a Celica had a kid, it would be an FD. I just feel like they kind of fit together, Celica is the smaller cheap car, FD is the mid-size, mid price car and Supra is the larger more expensive one.

OH... yeah, I agree with you there. Well, that they look similar, I would never confuse one for the other but for sure similar. When i bought my FC I actually thought it was a Porsche 944 when I first drove by it. of course, it was buried in snow at the time and the car itself was snow white so...

the supras are a lot lower and wider than the FC's.
