View Full Version : My $40 4 wheeler

LOL you read that right, i got me a $40 4 wheeler...its a 1985 suzuki quadracer lt250r. 2 stroke racer...it needs some work, but it runs (currently doesnt as kick start broke) and it has a broken swingarm (pivot bolt that bolts to frame broke off)carb is leaking some gas too but im thinking that will be a easy fix. but for 40 bucks you cant go wrong. my intentions are to fix this up, and more than likely restore it back to what it may have looked like when new. no its not replacing the banshee, im just needing a few parts for the 'shee. but this is just another thing to tinker with. the pics i got kinda suck, being dark, and i just found my camera in a box in the garage (still moving into the house my wife and i just bought)

yeah it does! I loved my lt250r. I will have to dig up some pictures of it when i was done with it.

well finally bought a kick starter for it, put it on, kicked it 3 times and it came to life... haha. still need a swing arm to go out and ride it tho

damn nice. Puddle under it even looks familiar. No power valve though?!

puddle is from a cracked radiator hose leaking coolant on the ground...and correct this is a non powervalved model :(
