I really want to turbo the 4.2 liter trailblazer inline 6 , just doesn't appear to be a lot of support for it. although the 2008-2009 have a different computer that is well supported by EfiLive tuning software for boost etc.

I have one an 06' and never had a problem with it. I was going to buy one that was already modded with sts turbo kit with fmic, meth injection, level 7 rpm trans w/stall and custom tune for 24k it was an 07 with 40k miles up in Minnesota but i ended up just getting a stock one after reading about sts kits and so on it wouldnt be good for dd in rain, snow.

Lots of talk about turboing the inline six when it came out by GM, but nothing ever came of it. Not really any aftermarket support, but you would think with the inline layout, displacement and big 4 valve heads a turbo setup could make some serious power if you could spin it high enough.

well I was going to get a trailblazer anyway for the family. whether i turbo it or not. so i thought i may throw a easy turbo setup on it with the cast manifold if it'll fit. Motors are cheap and plentifull if it blows up. I've heard of one guy making 1000hp with it.

Guy at the Gatornationals (top fuel drag races) trailblazer 4.2 I6 thats been converted to carb and a distributor ignition system... its been destroked a bit, built, etc ...makes 600+whp NA!!!
