what mods have you done since the 11.2 pass? Trap speed is pretty good and you said it wasn't a clean pass so 10's might be in store for you.

Of course everyone likes to see proof of it and not internet racing so your going to get doubters. you actually might lose a few mph with 4 bias slicks if you were on radials before. if you were spinning though it the slicks should net you a better time overall. but your awd so if you weren't spinning much it could hurt your time but probably not.

i posted a timeslip on the first page where i put the time. As for mods since the track: slicks, ksport suspension and fix the boost leak i had. With the radials i dont think i spun that much at all. it felt way better then the street. And i also got out of it after 4th and still had plenty of track left. So i guess i changed my rev limit a little bit as well.

pretty sure i watched that car decimate damn near everything on the street with full blown 2 step launches fine, on cold pavement...theres probably a difference between launching a car that traps 100mph vs 140.....

im just trying to keep up with u! haha ya trent told me to get this turbo. im only going up 80hp or so.. 577awhp seems so slow. im not sure on the boost but ill let u know when i get to drive it.

i got this turbo on a really good deal and after selling my old stuff im only paying a few hundred bucks to upgrade. i would like to run a higher hp but i really dont wanna start replacing or upgrading parts. i almost got the 6262 but everyone talk me out of it. but i pick this turbo up for 750 shipped and its brand new.

thanks for the info man. i have a quarter master twin disc in there now. i havent even put 8 miles on the car since it was put in. and all fluids replaced and gaskets from the head up. and put some L19 head studs as well. i do plan to keep all the interior with a cage. im actully trying to get the leather black and tan interior. i do have slicks but not sure if its the same type that u recommended. but u do know a lot more about these cars then i do. so thanks for your advice man.

i just got it so i could move up some hp. didnt really plan to go all out. i tend to not keep cars that long so im not thinking for the long run i guess. but i also like to have good parts.

I'd say your doing good already for guys around here. I know some of the videos make it look like everyone can go 10's, 9's, etc in a dsm with ease, but it takes a lot of effort for sure and a well sorted combo. I never went as fast as your car back in the day as I never ran my old car much after it's 16g glory days, but most of the old school guys I know of have and it wasn't easy.

Not sure what you have for slicks (I'd guess a MT 24.6" or a QTP 26" ) but stuff like that (soft sidewall) will work and absorbe some of the driveline torque spikes. Just squeeze it out of the hole soft if possible and mph it out the big end. It would be best if you can get the car under 3k lbs with driver or at least close (the less the better). If you ever have any problems let me know if I can offer some advice.

EDIT Just noticed all your stuff on the first page and most looks good. I'd say if you don't drive it a ton on the street a welded diff might help out some and distribute some more of the driving force and keep the delay low as the viscous has to heat up to grab.

thanks man. if u ever wanan come down i can take you for a ride or if i come up that way. i have M&H 24.5. but my fenders hit the tires from being on the street and they kinda went like string chesse haha. they r still use able but jus thave a little bit taken off the edge. the car weighs 3140 with me in it and a full tank of E85. and at the track i had to let out after 4th. my rev limit wasnt set high enough and i couldnt just bang it out the rest of the track since i had plenty of track left. When this season starts im going to try and get it more log in. and thanks again

I think you and slow4cyl (550 ish HP) would be a good race. He just runs a small 35r but he knows how to build his motors. Unfortunately last year his twin disc and trans rebuild from slowride allowed him a top of 3rd to 2nd shift and sent the engine through some 11krpm abuse. Hopefully its back on the road this spring though.

after i get my car back from rev hard it will go to a friends shop and ill start working on gettin it painted and doing to body work. im also waiting to get this interior too. so i can knock it all out at the same time. i hope it all looks good when im done. im going to do black again and a trim bronze or tan. and im goign to do all 3 set of wheels too

Been awhile since ive posted. Car made 669.9awhp 530ft lbs. Change the fuel system from the 2 pumps to one Magnafuel 750 series, ungraded the injectors to 1750cc, aem fuel rail and a trick n flow fuel filter. Also put a tranny cooler with pump. Im just waiting for a opening so i can get my 8-point cage installed by T-Fab. And ive also sanded the car down some and did a little bit of body work. here are some pics.

I'm sure he'll get the dyno up soon enough and his boost. I know his boost was at 32psi, not sure what it's at now.
However as for ignition its all factory yet, no COP or anything. Running on DSMLink

I live in Des Moines/Urbandale. The car will be at CFR hopefully multiple times this year..for sure at the shootout.

Meh..best 1/4 mile so far is 10.52@132. I do have a 6.64@105 1/8th mile slip from Eddyville however that should have ran out to somewhere in the lower 10.3x's...

My best 1/8th mile time was in like August too. I'm hoping to take advantage of some of this decent DA to sneak closer to the 9's at some point.

when i ran my 11.21 @ 130 i had a boost leak and my rev limit wasnt up high enough and i had to let out before the track was over with. so im sure with slicks, 100 extra hp and higher rev limit i should hit 10's easy.
All i wanted was 10.9 and i would of been happy. But we will see what happens now

ya i have a good 2 step.. i havent done anything driving time yet until wednesday-thursday when i get the clutch fork fix

ya i hope it should. havent had much driving time with the twin disc but what i did drive with it i like it and it says u can shift faster wit hthe twin disc so that should help out.

Try and get most of the things dialed in before i hit the track next. its almost like learning how to drive the car again
