You're out of your mind if you do! The Renault/Peugeot/Volvo engines in those are turds, Back to the Future wouldn't have happened because they struggle to get up to 60 let alone 88 MPH...

someone ruined that poor car, why would you ever paint one of those?

You can buy them new with paint.

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking. If those cars were meant to be painted, they would've been.

I want to see one polished, that would look sick! Perfect car to buy after a flood though, being stainless. Just have to replace everything that wasn't worth keeping anyways.

too "50 Cent" for my taste... Also makes the front and rear look out of place...

is it just me, or does it look like someone swapped a V8 into that? it looks like a carb'd V8 anyway.

I might be able to help you bid, however I've been swamped lately. I would need some sort of card/deposit so I don't get stuck with the car.

I'm pretty pissed I missed that today. I would have LOVED to bid on that. My guess though is that it went for a decent amount. I'll watch it and see if the min didn't get bid on.

Eh....It's a collector car and I know someone at the State Patrol that can get it re-titled.

Polished is sweet. When i was helping with the "Fire Ball Run" cars there was a polished one. I could see my self :)

I can vouch for that. I've done similar things for John numerous times and he's always been legit and made it worth my while.

I saw one once in Omaha that looked like it had just been someone's DD for the last 20 years..had a really bad exhaust leak and you could just hear the worthlessness pouring out of the engine..
