Well that's all fine and dandy but tell me how they gonna compete w say a cj which has gone low 9's in nhra stock classes. We already know those can put down 650 700 whp easy enough. 600 crank hp ok is weak. They need a power adder and claim that was stock too. Should of imo stuck w lil hemi prices + say a 2300 tvs setup. They build them that way for the street? You can donate $ to nhra and then they are stock. And by the way... The price of the 2008 Cobra Jet Mustang was $69,900. Scj ok is 90+K but it has over 1000 whp. No wonder they are going broke, course those crazy rich dodge guys will buy them. But unless some real serious cam and head work etc. it does not have a prayer unless rated like 300 hp. and run d/e stock like the lil hemis did. Then that like v10 is at least x2.5 $ of the lil hemi. Why I said lil hemi and a tvs. Gm run one also. w say 360 c.i. Even the playing field cause well those cj's are way under any previous records. Well that's my opinion of cost per hp and even it up.

On cj stockers pulley sizes are specified no bigger nor smaller. You could make it equal for $400 a car w a tvs setup. Somebody gets big advantage restrictor is pulley sizes. Cheap and easy to check. Instead they making some weird collector car. I don't get it. Build more cars cheaper price w same or more hp than this v10 n/a, w a v8 and tvs. Practical cheaper easy to check w calipers. Suspect foul play well gotta tear down engine like now esp any new records.

It's like ok we have 250 extra CAST PISTON VIPER V 10'S LAYING AROUND. SOMEBODY Says I KNOW WE'LL STICK IT IN CHALLENGER AND CALL IT NEW DRAG PACK W 600 CRANK HP AT 90K. Those fools will buy it.....

They are fully forged haha. I think its cool cause atleast they are trying something different. Sure they could build a supercharged equivalent to the CJ's, but going their own route is more impressive. Even if they don't keep up with the cars should be impressive.

You can tell they are trying in the production world too, coming out with more potent engines next year. Their production cars and this drag pack are definitely positive progression.

Proof it'll be forged

Well w/o viper and no more srt-10's just wondered what the leftovers were doing. Wasn't trying to be smart, except my way lot cheaper w easy parity. I mean would you choose 600 crank or 1000 whp for same money?

Idk which I'd chose for the money. Can't imagine I'd pay that much for any car that isn't street legal.

Bottom line pay that for 9's or 8's your choice. Randy already run mid 8's at tristate.

Yea Dustin those d and e stock challengers well are damn fast and quick imo. Those prob rated 325 hp but idk for sure and running low 10's. I don't see any new camaros doing that yet. So chrysler and ford are the new big dogs in nhra stock. That is all bracket racing except setting a new record so the challengers have just as much chance as a a/sa cobra jet in winning.

still for the $ this or even Randy's is better. I just want more power than even a 800hp v10.
How can you argue w 1000+ whp and its rated 475 hp?

A lil newer track test of same car.
Almost a 9 flat for a stick.
