with 141 mph its making plenty of power to go 9.40s if it hooks.

wow, nice improvement. just cooler weather helping your trap speed or did you change some things? at the manual shootout you could really tell that car would dig in and haul once it got going and had traction. video doesn't do justice. you'll have to run jesse's supra, gotta keep em honest.

141 mph geez...

I don't know if I've ever even gone 141 mph in my car!!

Car is making some crazy power Joe. You have your drag car, no need to sacrifice the basically supercar-ness of that unit.

Yea those guys are like hiway robbery. Now you see like last yr at the runoff I was scared on the final to launch anymore than 3k and my car is weak. It last run did hook up and bog at 3k but better than spinning and losing. There only had stuff left from the last big race on the track. I don't know how Vito hooked up maybe race suspension? And a turbo comes on smooth and gradual. A p/d s/c and nitrous is a bucking bronco imo. I need to do something different. Works ok on a roll but a dig spins way to much or bogs.

Yeah I am not going to do anything to that car just beat it, ask eddy b on the way home pulled off some 8 car passes..lol, I really think it will go 143 or a 144 if I can leave and hook, the cars traction control keeps stalling the car in between shifts..frustrating. But I will not be taking it back to the track anytime soon.

I am going to just stay with the old pump gas for right now, this winter I ll maybe take it to speed inc. and turn the boost up on race gas, should make 900 to the tires, but then again thats just wasted power on the street, it spins a shit load now cant imagine 175 more hp..

A lot of people talk about how e85 changes mixture from station to station and while that may be true I don't see how it would matter much unless your on the jagged edge of tuning. Guess I'll find out myself, I plan on converting over soon.

The new z06's are ridiculous.
Friend of mine sold his 2000 vette z06 clone, got a 2008 Z06, all bone stock not even exhaust, and it took down my buddy's civic pretty bad, and the civic has ran a best of 11.8 and best mph of 121mph.

you test for ethanol percentage I would assume? not ocatane rating right. so what kind of variances do you see?

Those new zo6 are light, you add 700 whp and prob that amount of wtq it gets ridiculous to control. Prob kill myself in that car going wot. Even ls3's are plenty quick. Lot different for sure than say a 1980 vette or even a 69 427 imo. I rode one time only in a 1969 vette stick w a built 454 mostly it was scary cause he was racing it through some crappy roads w washboard surface, never again.

I have driven a 03 Z06 and a 08 Z06

The 08 is an animal!
