Im looking at a house for sale on friday

Like title says, im looking at a house thats for sale on friday to hopefully buy, instead of renting, and throwing my money away...its a decent sized house, 1400 sq ft...house im in now is about 800 sq ft...has a big heated 2 car garage...currently have a small 1 stall, that doesnt even have elctricity..has 3.5 acres, so that means i could build another garage/shop if needed, and finally get me some atv's dirtbikes, and all that jazz again...currently in the middle of town with a small yard right now....so im pretty stoked....we were pre approved for a certain amount and this house is under our pre approved rate, and if we were to get it for what they are asking, ill pay less a month in mortgage than i do in rent...so win win

The amount that those places usually pre approve you for, are for people who don't eat or have car payments or any other bills whatsoever. Both pre approvals I had I was like, your joking right, I can't afford that with the bils I have..

well the pre approval rate will still equal what im paying a month in rent right now, so i dont see it being way out of the ball park

I too love owning my own home. I do what i want when i want and how i want.

When something breaks or needs replaced i can be a pain in the but sometimes.

no go on the house...i have to walk hunched over in the upstairs, the basement walls are bowed in, and have huge cracks (1 inch of seperation, or more is some spots) and roof is leaking...

Sounds like some of the houses I looked at for 50k in CR 2 years ago. Im lucky at what I got for 135k

i looked at another house today....way happy about it, so my wife and i put an offer in on it...so we will see how this goes
