We looks like new record from good ol tristate, I can't believe it, they had to pour down some compound. Anyway a 8.473 @159.25 and it looks like a reg cj. but yes I think I see ss/aa on side window. Anyway fastest ss/aa car on the planet I think. I'll recheck.

Super cobra jets are rated lol 475 crank hp w a 4.0 whipple and crusher/cj intake it's a monster. Originally these were to run in ss/b or ss/ba. Looks like they got refactored to a
ss/a or ss/aa

Oh yea the ss/a (stick) recorder holder so far is a ford thunderbolt. With a pos fe engine. Amazing

I really think w good weather in fall at east coast track the super cobra jet will shatter the record, be fastest of all time in the world. The hemi guys even w 600 c.i. will be crying....and yelling foul....You see when a 330 c.i. pos ford beats a 572 c.i. hemi making 1k on engine dyno they will cry foul cause the scj was rated 475 crank hp. The hemi engine costs at least 50k alone. So a scj engine is a bargain. The whole car is a bargain.

im sure to run 8.4 with that mustang its makeing over 1000hp at the engine. its impossible to go 159 in the 1/4 with 475 hp

Yea Jesse I thought the reg cj rated at 425hp was really fast. They are not a lightweight by any means, last I checked it was 3250/3260 # min. Nhra rates the hp. And specs the engine parts, last yr w cj they had certain blower pulley size and crank pulley size to set boost at xx # w the tvs. I figured the top cj ones are making 700whp, these scj must be at least 900 whp, they aren't real aerodynamic.

I know they are similar, off the top of my head "not always accurate" I was thinking the GT was a aluminum block and this one is iron, and GT uses a dry sump oiling system and the mustang doesnt, also the GT has 16 fuel injectors and other various stuff. Once again I might be thinking about a older model Cobra Jet though

Scj has alum block option w different cams, the 4.0 whipple w crusher or scj intake a huge maf meter and bigger t.b. I don't know what boost they are allowed or head mods

Here's some stuff about scj and reg cj, like I said a bargain say compared to those hemi's. Brian Wolfe lol says low nines for the scj, heck the record as I have said before was like 8.8 sec. At one time Brian Wolfe had the fastest efi 5.0 stang in the land. I think he kind of gave a low hp amount too. Just funny a big head ford honco pulling a Ed or Allgo. You can tell he's a racer, he really sounded serious. Lol bottom line they are serious and I luv the 2 step rpm limiter, you know just listening what car it is. That's standard for the 2010.
