Yea big s/c here 9# boost 661 whp. I asked him. So quite a bit more per # than a 03 cobra. Still pump gas range. Gotta love a 4v head chamber least likely to detonate. Oh video. For a 5.0 l pretty good for a factory engine. now Strickley went hi 9's w this hp on nitrous and a c4. Yes these have good knock sensors, the 03 downfall w crap gas and hi boost. I'd say jpc is reputable they have the fastest 3v on the planet. Runs in 8's.

Hennessy just proved to me they are morons taking a prod mtr w 29 mi on it and beating crap out of it . Who on here would do that w a mass assembled mtr? With a 1k break in prob at least make 20 rwhp more. Yes mtrs are better these days by far but sh-t I want at least to see it has no issues before throwing warranty out the window. Maybe he's rich and can buy 5 camaros, wtf I know? At least jpc got couple hundred miles on it.

thats what i was thinking but you wouldn't think it would be easy to match the supercharged and nitrous power the 03 has

Yep...and a caveman could drive it. I think w a small stall it'll be in 10's, I hope... guess we will see at least my shifting won't screw me. It may be next spring for things to get done and sorted out. Hopefully for now a tune, a xor, some kind of cai. They were talking mid oct. for delivery. They have been weighing in at around 3600 to 3680. Seems like they can make decent power and stay together. Hell a old 2v could take 8/ 10# all the time w those spindly azz rods and pistons. Hp is one thing getting it down the street or track is another thing. This is more setup for a dig or strip than a irs cobra ever was esp doesn't have a extra 150# up front. Or worse w a old iron block gt500. Tire burners.
Yea Ricky... well mustang shop guys don't sit on their azz cause it's lean now so are doing all kinds of stuff plus it seems to be a good setup stock w some bolt ons. So its dog eat dog, shop vs shop like those 2 evo import shops. Quickest gets most business. Esp w utube and streetfire to show off. Like right now looks like evolution and jpc are at it again. Ya they fight behind the scenes also. When jpc ran that hi 10 it had very low miles no plates and called in a favor to get track opened just for them to be first 10 sec 2011. They knew evo--- was going to track next day. Spoiled evo---- plans.

Oh ya btw so far the new 5.0 gt vs a irs 03 whp the same the new one will run away, out corner, out brake it too. And hell of lot nicer you guys will see. Then u techno nerds can talk to it and it does stuff. Sh-t for a lil over 30k got a car as good as a v8 m3 stock and don't have to spend a gazillion $ like the bmw, audi and mercedes ppl. to make faster/quicker, corner better whatever ur goal. I don't have my stepdaddy buying this for me u know. :biggrin:

I think jpc might be somewhat knowledgeable and so is evolution so lots of fun in store. And Joe what does this sound like... :supz: Maybe u don't hear it same in the car. The new 5.0 sounds all different. Let me add Jpc like Joe this is a plated car see for yourself.
Why cause of firing order and y type shorties. Flathead/y block firing order for the y hdrs to work easy on the new 5.0. Lot of ways to fire a v8, mostly you want opposite bank each time to fire but not possible w a v8. Gives more time for hdrs to expell waste gas. Less burned gas going back up the intake. Mo power.
