sunburn from welding... My nice welding helmet got stolen a while back and I never replaced it. Well, yesterday I needed to do a little welding so I ran up to Harbor Freight and just got a pair of the welding goggles. Didn't think much of it of course because my eyes where protected (I have have flash burn a few times) so I just started welding.

holy shit is my face burnt! hurts like hell, red as a cooked lobster, and feels like I am covered in burning hot sand. Well, pretty much exactly what flash burn in the yes feels like. Lesson learned I guess.

I usually get it on the insides of my arms.
Some days at work, I "get" to spend 8 hours welding.

x2 that really sucks. Well can't hardly fix that sorta like hearing, which btw I can't. But neither can the wife so prob we yell at each other...lol.. A match in heaven I suppose.
