Listen to the end of the video. Mis-shift and the car didn't like it.

Time was 7.5@103 I think. Something along those lines

Brent will have to chime in on the damage, but pulling the log showed 11,500 RPM im just amazed it still started and ran after that. 103 should be 133mph in the 1/4 that was on 27lbs when the ignition missfire gets fixed it should trap 140 with 35lbs :)

Only damage that I found is the pistons barley show sign of contact on the exhaust valve dish. New exhaust valves will be here friday and should be making 1/4 mile passes saturday night. Thanks ImporEvolution!

^ very very true!

I thought aem had rev limiters available? Good job none the less. You gonna be ready for oct 16th?

Rev limiters don't mean anything when your in gear. The rev limiters probably saved the motor!

I'm hoping it will be together for then. We'll see how everything is after it gets put back together

DAM Imports....A higher power was looking over my shoulder they day that Black POS talon left CR...Could have had Georges camaro running 8.0s all day long, for all the money that got spent on that MONEY PIT!!!!. GL Brent I have faith you will see the light someday

Funny though I got a guy in NY trying to trade me some NASTI Pro Built SRT4....for the Camaro. I told him his car and $50K and I would consider it, he said WTF!, I said it would cost you that to convince me to own another IMPORT...lol

I have respect for brent on not giving up though! It will get there some day. I will own nothing but imports, (possible a FordGT) I went to a car show last night and counted 20 corvettes! Good God! BORING

Thanks Jesse. Eddy B. This last issue was not caused by the car at all, it was all my fault, and that engine and transmission was put through hell for a split second and came out with only minor injuries (or so it seems for now). I love my DSM's and will keep getting faster and faster, this is my second season at the track all I can do is keep improving with seat time. Ed (slow ride) the transmission is working great, I did toss the ACT clutch though went with a twin disc and love it, I will never go any other way.

I'm also glad brent is still rocking the 4g63. Its becoming rare now. They once were cool when nobody knew about them, then all the ricers started buying them, now they're too old and the ricers have moved on. Now just the die hards are left as well as the broke people that can't afford something newer.

It really would be nice if you kept goign to the track with it. Aside from all the shit people give you i encourage you to keep going to the track with it. Unfourtanatly the DSM's just could not go as fast and as reliable as my pocket book wanted to spend nothing against the cars there sweet looking rides. If thats your nitch keep at it you might go broke but as long as your liking it the hell with it.

I have just fell in love with staring at the sky with 1.3 60fts lol it's a rush thats for sure.
