Which would be better to run and make more power?
Higher octane with CORN or lower octane without?

I mix 110 and 93/ethanol at the moment.
I'm wondering if straight 91 would be an improvement, even though the octane rating is less.

A few articles I read didn't really prove anything either way.

I guess I could see how much timing I can run on either gas before I get detonation for a comparison...

Whats your opinion?

The 93 and 110 blue racer w give highest octane. Sure not as good as e85 or e98 but you have to do a lot of stuff to run that. If like last time 4 gal of 110 + 10 gal of 93 oct. A newer stang only holds about 15 gal.

I would have to assum 93 is better. 93 with ethanol is maybe 10% ethanol, e10 is one step closer to e85 and we already know how good that stuff is.

a small side effect is the e10 will lean your car out just a bit maybe 3% which most cars are too rich anyway so that can be nice. but your car may detect the lean condition and adjust it with fuel trims and that leaves you back were you started with afr's.

do you tune with hp tuners?

I pretend I kow how to!

I had my tune set up by a guy in New York.
I just tweak AFR, timing, and the little things.

where do you get all of this crazy fuel? Only thing I have ever been able to find is the 110 at Citgo on Jst and 16th. I used to throw a couple gallons of that in the TSI when I had it.

E98, E85, E10.... WTF? I have never seen any of that at a gas station?

e10 or e5 is just the stuff you see at every gas station with a small amount of ethanol mixed in, they don't usually call it e10 around here they just have an ethanol sticker above the octane number. there is some stations that sell e20 or e30 , e50 etc and stuff but i think they are rare.

e98 I think is only sold by race fuel shops often by the drum as far as i know
