Did you run more boost that run or just better conditions? I can't remember what the previous best mph was, but 163+ is hauling. Ever figure out why it wasn't leaving the line good the day the manual race was going on?

My .02 is cogged belts... they have all different sizes, widths, lengths etc. We solved a lot of belt problems going that route even over chain drive. I've seen 250 hp elect mtrs use that w no trouble for yrs. You can get them at those bearing places in town. Poly chain is one name, but gates, goodyear, etc. make them. Prob some machine shop ppl could adapt the cogged pulleys and they have all sizes of those. If I could show u our storeroom and really it's tiny. No more shredding. will hold more hp by far than any belt, doesn't slip, doesn't need lube. Almost perfect for blowers esp. Gotta remember I've seen most everything and this way is the best overall, no bs. Those bearing ppl can recommend a size for say 100hp to drive that s/c. Or 150 hp. Lot better than a puny azz 8 rib. Plus it sounds cool too. Look here carbon fiber belt. Just want a 8 flat for you as I think it's slipping a lot right now. Ok I'm done w this rant just what I have seen that works. A man of ur means could perfect this no problemo.
Look here a big azz s/c using this setup. 7000hp.
