This is not a joke...sometimes you just get fed up in life. To be honest I want to buy a 1997 LT1 WS6 roller if I can find one (I didn't have the money last August when my 97 flooded, but I do now and I want to build a car that I truly wanted to build from the start if I'm gonna build one, I'm yall understand). I truly loved that car and unfortuantly, the love for the LS1 isn't the same. I'd be building it basically from the ground up...and probably put an LS family motor in it. Anyway, here is what I posted on Tech:
First off, don't really want to the sell the car, just don't have the time it deserves anymore. $13,000 OBO...I'm kinda asking a higher price, but that should tell the quality of shape the car is still in. I don't have to sell this car, I don't want to, but if it can go, I'll let it.
Performance Mods: Hooker Headers, Y-Pipe, Catback, SLP Lid/CAI, Ported/Polished Throttle Body, UMI Strut Tower Brace, On-Car Adjustable LCAs, Panhard bar(all red), Misc Free Mods, Drilled/Slotted Rotors w/ newish pads.
Visual Mods: Gunmetal Black Bird Stripes, matching Trans Am Rocker Panel decals, 3.5" Chrome Exhaust Tips, Painted Brakes (red)
I have Deep Dish Z06 rims on the car now, but I'll be taking those off and replacing them with the stock WS6 wheels, unless a price can be negotiated :)
Only problem with the car is that it has a crack in the fiber glass of the passenger door. Don't freak out, it is on the inside (guts of the door). Literally $10 in bondo will fix this [I thought more previously, but was told other wise upon further inspection). Related to this issue, the passenger window motor is out, but if you buy the car you get a motor to replace it (if I havn't already). Besides that, the car is in tip-top shape.
Disclaimer: Like all other 9 year old cars, I'm sure it has small light scratches and small dings I'll never see or anyone else will.
I have pictures from November, April, and some phone pictures from two weeks ago I'll post. Hopefully it gets nice in Iowa for once and I can snap a few more :/
