View Full Version : August 10.5 Schedule - Possible Double Header!

Hey guys, with all the rainouts and rescheduling going on this summer I just wanted to get the word out on the 10.5 races for August.

First off - Eddyville has decided to move the race scheduled for this weekend since CFR has a race scheduled as well. I plan to make it up there - should be a good time!

Secondly - Eddyville is looking at having a Double-Header race August 14th. Gerald wanted me to get input on it. It would be an early start (gates at 10am, time trials at noon) and then a second race to follow with 1 qualifying pass in between. Normal entry/payouts for each race, but everyone would get twice the racing for their travel expenses. Seemed like a good idea to me, but like I said, lets hear some input.

I was talking to Malibu Dan today and he said that we should see how many cars are left after the first race to see if there are enough for the second race!

Talked to Gerald yesterday... the double header is a go for August 14th.

I know it doesn't work perfect for everyone, but as Paul said, the year is winding down and the track schedule is pretty full the rest of the year. There is still another race later in the year as well, too.

We'll see everyone this weekend at CFR!
