Yes i have talked about the new 5.0 a lot. But it is big news imo. Ok we go retro boss 302 vs old 302 z28. I knew several guys w each setup back in the day. We would sit at the rootbeer place and argue this crap. Came across a hotrod article on stock setup of each engine. Really they do pretty good but they did have some serious cam timing w these engines. They both looked pretty bad azz and are now worth a small fortune all done up. I guess need to find a 396 375hp camaro vs a 428 335 hp mustang that pretty much were top dogs along w chrysler 440 charger and challenger. I'm not counting say the yenko or the hemi and boss 429 cause in the day it was so expensive. Even a 396 375hp camaro was pretty damn rare in k.c. These hot rod guys are such dumb azzes they show pics of a windsor besides here and there the real deal. wtf were they thinking? I know a stock 302 70 windsor can't put out that hp so gotta be the real deal w stock heads.

Ya I remember that article. Gotta love the duntovs. There was an lt-1 for sale in town earlier this year that was pretty cheap. Would have been a nice piece to have sit in the corner of the garage, next to the ls5 that was also dirt cheap.

Yea I have a 400 sbc sittin in my garage. Just what I need..... :banghead: Oh Mikey get that orange thing out of my driveway son. Buy alum heads, then don't etc. etc. stall converter then not. I gotta promise him oh yea it'll run 12's as it sits. I should have never said hi 13's if lucky. What a dumb azz.
