Looks like Sean Hyland is offering a tvs s/c for the new 5.0. 515 rwhp at 7# boost. Also they have up pics of a 4.6 3 valve rod vs the new 5.0 rod. 5.0 rod looks way superior more like a gt500 rod imo.

So 2 s/c kits already along w lt headers, intake and exhaust stuff and other misc stuff esp. the software to reflash the ecu. The ford engineers have to be helping other aftermarket co. in their spare time. It was almost a yr for a gm 6.0 gto software and several yrs for chrysler hemi software. Its def a good deal for us ford guys. Oh btw did I mention the new 2011 stang is now out selling the camaro?

The 5.0 rod looks quite beefy compared to the 3v rod

Yes it does, I wish they had all three rods in a row. 3v, 5.0 and gt 500. I suspect the 5.0 is real close to a gt500 besides the length.

$6,500 seems like a no brainer after spending 30k on a sports car. (or whatever it costs..and is it a sports car or a muscle car?..)

It's a gittin drifte car....lol ... It's a stang, well better than mine as far as build goes. Some mag say as good as m3 but I think ford gave those mag guys some crack or something. Maybe not, I haven't seen one real close. Seat stitching and all those quality things, like door, hood alignment, paint quality, etc. Maybe it is a new chapter, that would be nice. So now a whipple 2.3 w a big inlet and the eaton tvs. Like I said ford engineers gotta be helping these aftermarket guys.

I just saw a writeup on the 2011 gt 500 that looks improved a lot also. They removed 100# of pork off the front end, that's always good.

These days w 400+ hp nissans, the bad azz vettes, ford better do something. I have been dissapointed toyota hasn't done much besides the truck. I figured they might squeeze that 5.7 engine in some kind of car. Just seems a waste in just a truck. Same w nissan v8.

My lil bro said right at 30k or below. They had some completely optioned out glass roof california special for 40k. Dave said he could get it for 35k. But too much pork imo. Scott sent me a link where the guy says 3460 or something like that for a base manual 6 speed. A auto weighs some more. Prob leather a lil more w the synch stereo but man that is cool by far imo. Just gotta have that, light yrs ahead of the 03 setup. Look here
