Did a search already and found some good reviews on Fountain in Iowa City but wanted to see if anyone else had any insight on a transmission shop around the Cedar rapids or Waterloo area.
I live in Walker, so the closer the better but I am in need of getting the 4L60E transmission in my 2000 Silverado 4x4 rebuilt as the sun shell has failed and I only have 1st and 3rd gear at this time.
Fountain gave me a quote over the phone of roughly $1500 and I doubt I find something cheaper then that but thought I would ask and see what everyone said.
