B18C1/Integra GS-R

How are they? Looking at a '97 GS-R with 107K miles, B18C1/Vtech, 5-speed, Excedy stage1 clutch, skunk 2 pro series intake manifold with hondata gasket injection intake pipe and filter, full greddy exhaust, type r valve cover, lip spoiler, rear spoiler, and shift boot. skunk 2 fully adjustable coilover suspension, blox racing lower control arms, 5 speed, 20% tint, sunroof, power locks and power windows...


Anything "notorious" to look for? rough value if it's in really good shape? Can they take a little boost stock?

AH... no, I don't PLAN to turbo or anything right off the bat, if at all. I just like to know limitations and what not just in case. I think once I get the Mustang up and running, between that and the RX7 I won't think I need a "fast" daily driver...

When I look up the b18 motors everyone says that the pistons and rods ect stock hold up to 515 hp. And that they can be boosted to roughly 10 psi without any major problems. I seen some ppl talk about there b18a that has 200k on them and they are boosted at 7 psi for a daily. A gsr like that would be a great buy. They run forever and will take anything.

Buut again I remind you this is only what I have been told and read on google, honda-tech, and hondaswap. I'm not a mechanic and I've never personally tried it. But I will on a b18a1 this winter

LOL... you pretend to know a lot about me me even though you have never met me or seen any of my cars. I drive my cars, that is why I buy them. What would be the point of having a fast car if you just cruise at 20mph all day?

I should have known better than to post anything on a forum full of a bunch of teenage internet racers/ricer. May be I should slap a Honda decal, fart can, 4ft tall spoiler and paint the interior 10 different colors so there might be some interest.

I did end up getting it... and that shit is the exact reason I don't frequent DS anymore. Too much B.S. especially in for sale threads and shit. At least here when some dumb fucker shits all over someones thread, the mods actually take time to go through and clean it up. Just like teh shit you posted in my Durangos for sale thread was gone within a few hours...

I think so... we where cruising on the Interstate and James reached over really quick and covered the speedometer and told me to guess how fast I was going. I said 80mph, he moved his hand and I was doing 125mph~. LOL It is a pretty peppy little thing...

I just miss having a 5-speed so I am happy!

exact oposite for me... I always feel like I am going to slow and I am usually speeding. It's a fun car though and gas mileage seems to be pretty dang good. I just need to add a resonator/glass pack to the exhayse to quiet it down a bit.

My firebird always felt like I was going to slow. The talon at 65-70mph on the highway I'm always checking the speedo thinking I'm going like 100 haha
