how i understood it, 16 is the age of legal consent, but is still a minor, so the legal gaurdian(s) have to consent for them.

luckily i never had to deal with it(whew!)

Oh, there's a guy at work that brags about nailing 16 year olds when he was late 20's. He said the parents found out but the system did nothing because 16 is age of consent in Iowa, and the consent only had to come from the kid.

Just an FYI to you pervs.

Also, I would like to call BS on your holier-than-thou message. You could care less about the age of consent, and I know for DAMN sure you were banging people without consent and underage.

FYI... age of consent is 16 however only if both parties are under 18. Age of consent is "as low as" 14 as long as the oldest is within 4 years of the younger one.
