I am fairly sure that top fuel cars are still the fastest end most are an aluminum version of Chrysler's Hemi

I think thats the 2nd race they won in a row, starting to get that car figured out now I think!! Shouldnt take many more wins before they start including rules for these import engines to slow them down, they just got a good jump on it because no one has run that engine in that class before to my knowledge "at least competitively" Glidden is not far off those numbers though, I think he ran a 4.0x that day and has hit a 3.9x in the past with a nitrous car

The fastest car in the world is different than the fastest accelerating car. Just felt like nit pickin.

They are doing well in extreme 10.5. The et record hodler in extreme 10.5 is Spiro Pappas with a 3.92 and Chuck Ulsch at 204 MPH (blower car)!

BTW, they do not run th 400 in Extreme 10.5 Most are running Clutchless 5 speeds ( liberty, lenco) (no transmission rule)

I wouldint count on that, ADRL's prides itself on minimal rules. For the most part they make almost no rule changes they just add another class (thats why they run a nitrous pro mod class, and a turbo/superchager class.

If you ever get a chance to go to ADRL, it is worth the drive (closest is Topeka Kansas and going on this weekend)
