Looks like you figured out some power management. Good Job Guys!! I have one question, the mph seems low for an 8.20 did it lay over on top? Congrats guys its been a long time coming.

Mph is spot on. It's not a Supra he's driving..... That car pushes alot of air going down the track. Has the same aerodynamics as a brick, but still gets it done!!! Get a lane biatch!!!

good job guys
mph is off.the car at that ET will be running 5.20s 139 to 143mph 1/8 mile and running 8.20s on the back end at 174 to 180mph.. i am with Ryan the car had to lay over on the top end with the mph. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKJh-1F1DbE

Uwilose put your set-up in a 65 Mustang and see how much your mph drops off.... Frontal area makes a HUGE difference in mph!!! Lorenzo's only gonna keep going quicker/faster once some timing gets rolled into that bitch!! E.T. Wins the race, not mph....Don't hate, congratulate!!!

LOL not in a loong time, obviously I know its not true! just a little thing I heard about the "mystery time slip" last year.. I know theres lots left in it and there has been for a long time, I video taped a pass of it running 174mph 2 years ago I believe. It sounds to me like its riding on a adjustable rev limiter for a few seconds at the start of the run trying to limit power but I honestly have no idea :? My car wont certify to run faster than a 8.5 and I honestly doubt it ever will so I'll leave that low 8 second stuff for other people!! Good job Chris that pass looked awesome

All that im saying is for an 8.20 and what looks to be a decent 60ft that car should mph higher than it did. That just my experience with turbo cars, with that 98mm hair dryer Chris's car will go much faster than an 8.20 and im not questioning the 8.20 I was simply making an observation. I'm sure he will be back at the track soon and go faster.

By comparison my car has done a best of 135 in the 1/8 and almost 170 in the 1/4 at 3700lbs on radials, the best way to tell if a big turbo car falls off on the top is to watch the mph gained between the 1/8th and the 1/4, it should always be 30+ or something's wrong. Like I said this is just my experience take it as you will.

Congrats again Chris and Steve.

BTW, It picked up almost 34 mph between the 1/8th and the 1/4....Id say it pulled up top just fine.

I was told it did 140 in the 1/8th, guess that was the wrong info.
