im in love with the white Thunderbolt at the beginning of the vid. i also love how high all those cars sat. looks like they mean business that way.

Thats a sweet video. Hot Rod was talking about that powder they were using a few months ago. The transition form just full out dumping it and warming up the tires. Mid to late 60's. I guess in 1 of richard petty's off seasons they started testing it and it was the big leap in hook. For those of you who dont know, it used to just be go up to the line and dump it. Watch some old front engine alcohol cars, just destroying the tires and mayhem out of the hole. BIG nuts. thank you david freidburger

The easy solution back in the day, big engine w a shock tower car was cut towers out, put a econoline/old truck front straight axle in w leaf springs. Engine and headers fit real easy then w a big block. Early chevy 2 then bbc and fords various shock tower cars a bbf fe. Tilt front end too.
