Needs to be daily drivable and have no major mechanical issues.
If it can't be driven home then it isn't what we want.
My buddy is finally getting his car sold and will have a maximum of 1600 cash, not even sure if he'll have quite that much but he's looking to get into something that will at least be a bit fun.
Ideally looking for something along the lines of a third-gen f-body with t-tops.
He wants to stay away from v6's - if it has a 305 that's fine, something bigger is a +
Mustangs are okay too as long as it's a v8.
He's also kind of interested in a honda as long as it isnt like, a d15.
Also would look at a turbo DSM but as his mindset and I don't blame him is - he's scared of what kind of shape of a running/driving turbo dsm he'd get for his price range.
His basically perfect car would be a 305/350 Manual T-Top third gen.
He'd also love to find a LT1 f-body in daily driver condition, however he knows he doesn't have the cash for one.
He could do payments on something if it was the right car, but he wouldn't want anything over 2.5k most likely, as he'd just put his 1.6k down and then make payments and he hates the idea of having a loan.
