Me and Tyler worked on the car some more tonight. Got the nitrous kit prety much all installed and wired just have to wait for Eddy B to fab up the switch plate and install that, then wire in the micro edge, change push rods and throw in some new nitrous plugs, comming allong but should be ready to tear up the streets here in the next couple weeks!

Is there any way to mount the fuel solenoid directly to the fuel rail? That big loop of fuel line just doesn't look the greatest.

Cant do that the line has to be that length. the actual N20 and fuel line have to be equal length so you dont have a lean spike. Belive me i wanted to shorten it up but you simply cant. they have to both be the same length otherwise we could have more issues.

Word...we thought the same thing...wanted to directly mount it but we were told not to..

That would be the feed line from the solenoid to the nozzle. Not the fuel rail to the solenoid.

^yea, you can do that on the feed to the solenoid the length will not matter at all. Just not the post line; to the nozzle will need the same length.

I've got 2 ft long 3an post solenoid lines... I can tell you fuel will stay in there for at least a few hrs but nitrous will be boiled off in a few sec... Don't believe me see for yourself. I still can get a lean spike even w a fuel accumulator, that is before the solenoids btw. .067n .038f. This is what it put down on that awd dyno as Trent can attest all bs aside... Now this was ramping up from 3k at 30% w a fjo mini. Full open at 4.5k.

Exact same setup w/o nitrous...

Damn man it has 2 ft long 3an lines from solenoid to fogger nozzle. It is ran down hidden in such a way the fuel will stay sitting in there. It has those size jets .067 nitrous and a .038 fuel jet. I am using a fjo mini controller. I forget you are new most ppl already know my setup exactly... It's cool sorry.. Here is what the setup on the fjo was. http://photos.imageevent.com/69gt4speed/69gt4speedfirstalbum/websize/prog%20n20.jpg

Ahh...gotcha. What do you mean by before the solenoids though?

A guy told me one time w bigger jets I needed a fuel accumulator to keep fuel pressure from dropping when the solenoids open. That goes in fuel line from fuel rail to the solenoid. As you also see I cut nitrous before I hit my fuel cutoff at 6700 rpms. All this stuff isn't needed w a auto the progressive fjo was done for safety and wheel spin, before it would spin at +50 mph as cobras spin real easy w/o real tires. I set it up to do 2nd gear rolls mostly from 40 to 50 mph w 17" drag radials. Just a typical pos cobra street setup nothing more or less. Its a decent turd. Tyler will drag my azz down the track no doubt w/o some luck.... George, Ed, Tyler and many others just having some fun... We always have some fun.. Life is short.. There is no golden yrs either.
