Thanks, yeah its going to be a wiring nightmare with 10 solenoids and wiring the progressive controller into everything. Not to mention the other plumbing associated with it, not sure if I can afford all the fittings.. Im headed out on a cruise this friday so thats not helping the funds either but dam I need a vacation.

Yea, 10 solenoids would suck I have 5 to wire up next week and my kit will be done. Looks good!

I need to wire up my new kit and I haven't even looked at it and I am scared of it! It doesn't even compare to anything like you guys are running though, just a basic wet kit and a Jacobs MasterMind but still enough crap that I don't want to do it myself!

Yeah that would be fun, I think both of us have pipe dreams of drag racing this year though.. I know I will be lucky to get my car back on the track again this year, plan on putting actual nitrous pistons in it this winter too and I cant even afford to order those yet!!

sounds like its time to unload the circle jerkers!

Scott

Yeah I have tried to a few times, havent done a whole lot of advertising for it though. Its just too much fun to give up right now, the more seat time I have in a race car the less time I have to spend worrying about other stuff!!! Plus it almost pays for itself throughout the year unlike the money pit mustang. You know how that goes! one more day at work and Im outta this place for a week

Well if you do know anyone looking for one, its a IMCA Northern Sportmod with a GM sealed crate motor, won the championship last year and tied for most wins at Hawkeye Downs in all the classes, you would have a very very hard time finder a nicer cleaner car than this one.

Got the intake back from Induction Solutions yesterday, got it blueprinted and he re-plumbed the solenoids for the 2nd stage, remote mounted them. I sure hope the alternator and battery can keep up with all 8 solenoids on at once!! Its gonna be scary the first time both stages get crankin. Im just hoping to keep up with BIG HP and Skinny this year.

cushion

Scott

cushion
Yep he's on it, alum rods help cushion the harshness of big nitrous motors but I don't think they would hold up with the amount of miles I put on my motors throughout the year. Hopefully with my other changes to the car I will actually use LESS nitrous than last year and run faster. At least that's the plan!!

Bme rods will, thats what I run.

Yeah that would be nice! maybe someday I'll be able to afford those gems, Im still running the same eagle H-beams and crank I bought with my 408 stroker kit in high school.
