Well, dropped all the engine goodies off at Horn and I am waiting for some specialty tools to come in as well as some other misc. stuff for the Mach One so I have decided to do yet another little side project. THIS one is... yet again, redoing the system in the Cadillac. Should be the final time I do this I hope! I am still waiting for my rear airbags to come in as the system (sub, box, amp, batteries) weighs in at about 400lbs so...

the new sub sitting on a table. (yes, there is a table under it)

a good 4ft from our t.v. and it's messing the thing up still. "I see you checkin' out me DAEWOO!"

DD Z1 (needs cleaning up, got it from Jacob at SunDown, he took it in as a trade)

Oh yeah... the box will be 7ft^3 net (building it IN the trunk) and will be externally ported through the rear deck and have interchangeable ports. 30hz-32hz tuning for daily driving and 40hz-42hz for comps, I will be running 2.5Kw rms daily and 4Kw+ at comps.

This particular amp tested right around 5350 rms @ 1.15ohm on 14.4V (4200 @ 12v), the sub is a "D2" but the coils are reading 1.7ohm each so we'll see where I end up once it is in...

should get down pretty damn nicely!

Also, if you didn't notice. I left that Cadillac in the picture over by 15th st. SE and someone snatched the rims! :) so if you see someone rollin on some nice new .22"s let me know!

I've heard of coils lowering after some solid use. What's your cars resonance fz? Oh and what about caddy 22's stolen?

the caddy part was about the little toy car in the photos i think.

I would find a way to support that basket.

The 18" 12-spokes from Fi are prone to breakage.

the cadillac rims thing was a joke about the toy car. .22"

my last setup peaked at like 44hz IIRC...

don't need to support the basket, I need to support the motor! However I have never once heard of these breaking and I know 50+ people who have run them for years... the cast 6-spoke baskets I know first hand are a little more likely to break.
