I won my small claims lawsuit against ProTow!!!

Well, I didn't "win"... it was a default judgement, meaning they didn't respond within the 20 day time period of the date they where served. However, I get my car fixed and they are paying so I count that as a win!

Just under $700, like $692.XX IIRC. I just turned the estimate form McGrath into the court with the rest of my paperwork, they have to pay the court fees and everything else too.

I think I am just going to do the work myself this time, should only cost me like $100~.

Apparently I didn't fill you guys in on the last few things that happened. Basically, I went to ProTow like 10 days after I won this case to discuss if they where going to pay me or if I had to set up garnishments. they said they would cut me a check the in a few days and give me a call. Instead, I got a letter in the mail saying they appealed it the case again and I had a new court date.

Well, today was my court date and once again, I won!! This is literally the THIRD time I have won this case, no appeals or anything they can do this time and because of the appeals and all that other crap they stacked up another $500~ worth of court costs :)

Talked to them yet again and of course "they told the insurance company to cut me a check and they don't know why I haven't gotten paid yet." So I said FUCK dealing with Pro Tow and went right to the insurance company! Apparently they knew nothing of the small claims cases and have been trying to get a hold of certain people at ProTow for 4 months without a single returned call or anything. So, I called and talked to Joel out at ProTow while I was at the insurance company so they could hear everything he was saying and all that good stuff. He lied out his ass and said he had just talked to them and would give me a call back before 5pm and let me know what the hold up is.. He said he thought they already paid me since I hadn't been bugging him and that if not he doesn't know why and blah blah blah...

ANYWAYS, the insurance company looked through all of the paper work and cut me a check :) NOW it is over... APPARENTLY they (insurance company) had been trying to get a hold of me but they didn't have any of my info and ProTow said they didn't either LOL... jack asses...


While I was at ProTow around 1pm (before I went straight to the insurance company) some guy was talking on the phone about how they are going to have one of their employees arrested. He said he has felony warrants and they have known which is why he gets paid under the table but apparently he pissed someone off so they are going to call the cops and set him up. I didn't hear all of the details because the guy was in an office and I was in the lobby waiting. There was also some irate black bitch in there yelling about some shit that had gotten stolen out of her car...

Awesome. Glad you finally got what you deserved. I love the stories you have everytime you go in there and something else has been stolen. I am actually a little sad this is over as the entertainment value was priceless! Glad you won, again, though.

Pretty crazy because Landon was like "Monster guy!!!" yelling and pointing at the Pepsi truck LOL... NOW it makes since because I didn't see you at the time, just noticed the Pepsi truck as we passed. Oh yeah, then when we got home he asked if we could go to Dustin's house.... so apparently he knows your name too...

EDIT: the "monster guy" is because Dustin gave Landon this big 'ole stuffed animal football monster thing when we where there....
