Very heart-wrenching story on dsmtuners.
I followed it back in november, even before I had a DSM as I had been planning on buying a DSM either way and had been lurking the forums a bit for ideas as the DSM i had intended to buy was basically stock.

I forgot to check the thread for a couple weeks and I come to find out Wendy Pate has passed away. She was fighting liver cancer, and she put up a hell of a fight!

Never knew her or her husband but just from following the thread it can take a huge toll on you.

All she wanted was for her FWD Eclipse to run 10's.. She managed to get into the low 12's on her own.. It's amazing how the DSM community came together to support this dream. She at least got to see it make its 520whp on the dyno. However it will be her husband who takes it down the track for the 10 second dream.

In memory of Wendy, some sticker graphics have been designed.. They are only $5 and it goes straight to the Pate family which has Brad Pate(Wendy's Husband) and their 3 children. If you would like to support Wendy through one of these, here's the link to do it. You'll need to register on mitsu-media but it only takes a few second.

Just hearing about Wendy through the posts in the first thread, and looking up her original posts in previous years on DSMTuners lets you see her bright bubbly, happy, helpful, and overall wonderful personality. You truly can see what a great person she was by reading through the thread. It definitely wasn't her time.

Thanks all
