Fuji Heavy Industries (parent company of subaru) is officially pulling out of WRC effective immediately. These leaves our 09' youtube viral video entertainer of the year Ken block driving what?...

FORD.
I've watched this video about 5 times now
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zve4h1Ih ... r_embedded (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zve4h1IhfLU&feature=player_embedded)

Just so you know this leaves Ford and Citroen as the only leading car manufacturers left, Suzuki pulled out too. Honda left F1, but unrelated to rally. All leave because of poor economy.
more updates as i read them.

yea, but Subaru may be running still in IRC, and privateers can still run subaru. IRC is like group N but faster (no turbo restrictions).

Dave Mirra is now driving for SRT and Pastrana is still on board.

Nothing like Dad and jr duking it out.... What I could not believe is they actually have a class for a stang. I put it up as a joke..trust me.. awd is the way to go.

Thanks Scotty, they never did show a pic of how much damage it had.

Ya I was thinking what an odd platform for rally. I think its the only sport fwd is better than rwd in. Can't believe Subaru is pulling out, thats weird

I find it kind of funny these guys known for extreme sports jumped into rally all about the same time. pastrana, block, mirra. All DC sponsored (or part owner).

I'll be sure to post more new ford rally vids as I find them. Im currently busy working on my subaru so its slowing me down haha.
