are the 10.5 local races still going to be 1/8th mile? I know all the True Street Outlaw races comming from the great lakes dragway circut will be 1/4 but what about our usuall 10.5 races.

True street = not heads up IMO
I thought you wanted to outlaw ladderbars last year and now you want to allow 4 links to run? That would be tough to make fair without a healthy weight penalty, and without scales thats kinda tough too. Im all for making it work though, I would say let them run untill they start wiping the floor with the competition then do something about it.

Just checked and the 9.0 class is stock suspension only. If you guys do decide to race in this class read the rules close, I was glancing at them and noticed a nitrous shut off valve is mandatory in reach of the driver.

So scotty you wouldn't be apposed to a 4-link rule, you got your way last year and you cleaned house............The el-co would never be a threat to you nitrous guys anyway it's a turbo car!!Steve o

Its a common place in 10.5 and radial classes to allow ladder bars, they're not much of a advantage over stock suspension with adjustable coilovers in many peoples eyes, where a 4 link can do wonders in a class with no wheelie bars allowed.. Anyways, I wouldnt be against letting the camino run at all, the more people the better, at least its not a real lightweight gutted car or anything, btw what does it weigh?? The only potential problem I see is certain people notice 4 link cars running in the class then it wont take long for the crazy fast race cars to jump in the class.. Does the camino have stock framerails anyway? Why not put/change a crossmember and build ladder bars that would be a direct swap from the 4-link, lots of people have built both options into their cars

Oh yeah I understand 100%, but when ladder bars where legal from the get go why would I switch it over?? I would of definetly thrown some control arms on it if the ladder bars werent legal though.
