This will be a great class race for some of the people from around here, ed could own the 10.00 class, I am not for sure on the 11.00 class yet I know there is going to be a outlaw class to, lots of fast cars from chi-town for sure..
P.S. Eddy we just need to make sure you dont pull up to the tree on these races..lol

Sounds like bracket racing to me.. is this for street cars only?? Need some rules for sure

damn, they got some serious shit going on there. A little too much like bracket racing, I would have to slow my car down to run in the 9.0 class. Im looking forward to more H+W races and the heads-up 10.5 races next year. I actually dont mind running the 1/8th mile, alot more fun than I thought it would be thats for sure.. More competitive I think since the vast majority of the cars are within .4 seconds

It's still a heads up race just a way to keep a competitive class without build requirments or specs! Im down for the 9.0 class, i think a consistant 9.20 would be real good in that if it was good on the tree! :cop:

Joe R ran up at the the Grove last summer when it was 9.20 class.....if it is any thing like up there your car will have to run a 9.0x and it is a drivers race...it is very tight racing up there (not sure what down here will be like). I bet the competive cars run faster and detune them for the weather/track.

It's nice this way to keep everyone in the mix. One wrong reaction or 60 and it's over for the fastest guy.

yeah that wouldnt be a bad deal, I could put some smaller jets in and run 9.0 class I guess.. Hopefully the 10.5 races get a good turnout too

Do you still have to pay the $125 fee to "join" their club or whatever in addition to paying entry fee? http://truestreetracing.com/fees-payouts.html
Looks like a bare minimum of $200 to race?

Daamm, not too bad I guess.. Figured payout would be more for such a hardcore popular race organization. I guess 700 isnt too bad for a 9.0 class

I went to the race in September up at Great Lakes, It was a great time. All of the cars were top notch and all ran very consistant in all of the classes. I will be attending both Cordova races and Cedar Falls, as well as one at Great lakes for sure( Quick Street 9.00 Class). Looking forward to this summer racing, cold weather sucks!
As far as people that are not TSDRA members, you pay the entrance fee at the gate. If you happen to go rounds and win, they take a percentage of your winnings.
