it only weights about 2200 pounds though.. crazy chassis work and expensive body panels helped with that alot.. I have NEVER seen a car with a 9" rear in a AWD car with independant rear suspension, thats a crazy drivetrain combo with that transmission thats in there too

Not the same company. I don't think Chevrolet would be pleased if he were building Evo drag cars.

my bad. I didnt think that they would build a evo. that makes sense that a Canadian company went with magnus.

I don't understand. Air jacks on a drag car? Are there timed pit stops in drag racing now?

It's for Baller status. So you can put your car into the pits and push a button to jack the car up and look around with your chest out and say "i don't need no freaking jack and stands"

wow. that's fucking gay. [insert reference of 'baller' to balls deep in male anus here]

yeah especially since they only lift the car up high enough to take the wheels off and thats it.. but hey if your building a chassis from scratch might as well build them in, Im sure money was no option for them either so hell why not

Ya, I did. I was just kinda hoping there was some kind of endurance drag racing going on now. It might make drag racing like, maybe, halfway cool. Something like 100 runs in the least amount of time, so they have to change tires a few times and design functional cooling systems. If I were in charge, they would have to repack the parachutes too, so then they would need brakes that were more than one-time-use to avoid needing the 'chutes. But then you said no, there is no reason for the jacks, and I was disappoint.

I read somewhere that it was a all around car. although with that massive turbo its def a drag car.

COULD be a road race car if it's a 2.3 with nitrous. Would be kinda stupid though. 600hp flies on the RR course

Exactly, I'm sure money is no object with that thing, so why not have them. Not something I'd ever invest in, but still cool I think. Just as pointless as the rest of the of the car.

And there is many different kinds of drarg with different levels of endurance. Lots of event do a true street style event where you have to go drive said number of miles and then go to the staging lanes. Or if you're doing back to bakc passes, or event something like drage week; 7 second street car, street driven over 1k miles in a week and then raced.
