Any car that's good enough for James Bond is good with me. Not much happening in 83. It's amazing how far cars have come in such a short time. My first 2 cars...83 El Camino, 83 Caddy Barritz. Thank god I got outta the Low Rider thing.

mmm, Lotus Esprit.
There were so many neat cars in 84. Daytona Turbo, Celica Supra, Fiero, CRX, MR2, Mustang SVO, GTV6, Spider Veloce (VVT since 1980 ), etc.....
I'd have to spend hours just to decide, so off the top of my head...Ford RS200 Evo.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/bb/Ford_RS200_engine.jpg
0-60: 3.1 seconds
1/4 mile: 11.8 seconds
It's really a tough choice between the RS200 and the other Evo models. Audi Quatro, Lancia Delta S4, Peugeot 205 T16, Renault 5, Lancia 057, Ferrari 288 GTO, Rover Metro 6R4, Opel Manta, and Porsche 959. All amazing, all impossible to get, most with only 200 built, 20 being the 'Evo' models.

The 944 is neat, with the rear mounted transaxle instead of a standard transmission. UGLY, IMO. Also expensive to fix. Great chassis and aero, and companies make LS1 mounting kits :supz:

Werd, they all made more power than the rest of the technology could handle. That's why they were banned. :.( Really, I like the Delta S4 the most. It looks kinda like an Omni, but insane. I picked the RS200 because it was the most unusual looking, and has a very interesting drivetrain.

Ya banned and the fact they all quit racing after the accidents with the rs plowing like 60 people and that lancia driver dying.

I had one of these. FUN car in the winter and made an awesome vehicle out on the farm! Had some fun at "600 acres" way back when as well! Had the station wagon too but sold that to my uncle...

I agree, the inline 5 has a crazy amount of potential.
I would have to go with the 1990 Audi S2.
