Hello all.

I just bought an SUV so unfortunately the Cavvilac has to go. It's got 144,000 miles on the clock. The rim on the front driver's side is bent a little bit. I'm sure a replacement would be pretty cheap especially if you just went and snagged one out of the junk yard.

The car starts and runs great! Just got a new muffler and hangars installed last year. The only problem I have with the car right now is that it either needs a new battery or there is an electrical leak somewhere. If you are using the car as a daily driver, you won't run into any problems (except on those -25 degree days like everyone else). But if you don't drive the car for a week or so, the battery will likely be dead when you try to start it again. But I gotta re-emphasize that mechanically, this car starts and runs great.

The car has a street fighter body kit installed. The front bumper is damaged, but this car comes with a brand new fiberglass drift front bumper that is already primed and has been installed on the car. I took it off because I did not like how low it is to the ground. So I removed the new bumper and re-installed the old one.

The car comes with a viper alarm system with remote start. The remote start works from as far away as 1/4 mile!! I used to sit in class at Kirkwood and be able to start my car as long as it was reasonably close to the classroom.

I'm looking to get $500 for the car. I have all the confidence in the world that this car will last at least a couple years into the future. Before I decided to buy the SUV, I envisioned the car lasting another 5 years or so the way it's running now. I'm selling it for $500 instead of $750 (which is what I really want) because in order for the new owner to be comfortable, they should probably invest in some new shocks and a new rim for it.

Here are some old pictures. I'll post some new ones soon (these rims are no longer with the car, and the front bumper is definitely not that nice anymore. Otherwise it's mostly still the same)

for $500 Zac, i dont think you'll have a lot of trouble getting rid of it. sucks to see it go though; lot of memories. im actually pretty sure this car originally caused the rift between Zac and I on the original CR:u board, heh.

Updated the original post with some new pictures. One final quirk that I thought up while I was taking pictures: This car does not have windshield washer tank. It had to be removed to install the front bumper on the body kit. It would be possible to rig something up (maybe a smaller tank or something) but as of right now there isn't one. I usually just clean the windshield off when I stop for gas and I keep a squirt bottle in my garage so I can clean it off at home. It does suck on days where the roads are slushy and salty though.

Tricky: Got your PM. Will PM you back while I'm at work tonight. You've got first dibs buddy. I'm working on getting the title from my parents' house and I should be able to have that by Monday or Tuesday so it'll be ready to go.

Sounds good Apples. Tricky is going to come out and take a look at it soon. I'll let you know if he decides he isn't interested. The Cavvy gets decent gas mileage - normally around 24mpg. Not great but much better than the damned SUV I just bought. lol
