View Full Version : My 2001 P71 Crown Vic For sale/Trade
I have my 2001 P71 crown Victoria, but I am needing something even bigger for our long road trips.
Car is a retired CR Airport K-9 unit, so no hard street miles! Newer brakes, ball joints, idler arm, oil cooler lines, sway bar bushings,&decent tires! Car is almost ready to hit 91K. I drive it daily! We just got back from KC and it averaged 23mpg with a full load and the cruise set at 75! Car is not rusty!!!- Got around great in this snow, and also includes some never used tire chains!
Looking for a Suburban/4dr Tahoe/Expedition in comparable shape/price so we could do an even trade. If you have a decent suburban/Tahoe/Expedition that needs a little work and some cash we can talk.
Asking $3000/obo

haha i'd love to have one, and do a brakestand at an intersection. The confusion would be great
Yep it's a lot of fun!
All the Kids at My Daughter's school love it.
And with this snowfall people tend to give you an odd look when they think the CRPD is out doing doughnuts in a parking lot!
I really hate to sell it, but I need something bigger!

That car is awesome, I always love the way these cars rode, plenty of power and smoooth riding. Whats the interior like in this car? Still look factory and everything inside? does it smell like a dog or anything? I have a 4 door Buick LeSabre I drive as a daily driver I would be willing to trade if your interested.

oh yeah its a 97, partial trades maybe?? Its got a nice stereo and subs in the trunk too!!
The wife said she would kill me if i bring home something other than a Burb/Tahoe LOL
Interior is in good shape , has the overstuffed driver's seat that is equipped with a side airbag (and it does have a couple small holes in the back, but nothing major). Rear seat is vinyl and brand new, because they had removed it to put the dog cage inside. Seat belts were removed as well, and I found some brand new ones to put in it.
The cool thing is that it does NOT smell like a dog. Even when it was 90+ and the car sat all closed up in the sun you could hop in it and would never know it was a K-9. The wife also is very sensitive to smells, and she never noticed anything either.
I credit this to the Fact CR makes them take good care of the dogs. I spent a long time looking for a P71 and I had looked at a Mo K( unit and whew! It smelled like a Kennel!!!!!

I would love to replace my Buick with this car.. Just need someone to buy it first I guess, I just dont want to get rid of my DD and then you sell this car I would be stuck without a ride.
I hear ya.
well if nothing else list it! if it looks like it will sell let me know to make sure i have the vic and I can hold it.
I am not in any big rush at this point, just figure if I sell it or find what we want it then it was meant to be!
Heck I am sure with the weather we just had 4x4 Hoe's and Burbs just went up in price ;)

nope...2000
Also I got to thinking, if I sell the Vic I better hope I find a Hoe or Burb quick, cuz it means I get to drive my Bronco in the interim, and she does not need to see salt! :)

I have a seperate thread for my car now.. Sorry SVO for throwing it in your thread
Well I have located a Burb that I like in my range, so if my car sells I am set :)
Here are a couple quick pics, bear in mind i have not had a chance to clean it out since our Trip last weekend.
How it looks now with the spotlight back on it

The corner of the driver's seat that looks torn, that is where the recliner mechanism comes out. I am not sure if it is supposed to have a trim piece there or not, all of the P71's I have ever looked at had the stock style seat put back in. This was the only one I have seen with the overstuffed airbag seat in it.

This one shows the small holes I was speaking of before. Also both seats still have the stab plates installed. I liked this in case my Girls ever got too mad at me :)
