The guys at lethal performance built their own 2010 street legal scj., alum gt block, 4.0l whipple, scj blower inlet, engine built by best mod guy in the business. Low boost on mustang dyno put down 778 whp or in 850's on a dynojet. You can read in more info all the details... couple videos.. We'll see what this car does but you can get a idea of the ford racing 2010 cj w optional stuff ie scj whp. This should be close to a 600c.i. n/a mtr. w small cam counting hp drag of s/c.

Appears to have a very small cam via the idle.. Now I know in nhra s/s you can have a cam w minor headwork.

I think a 2010 scj at 3275# can run 8's depending on boost level and cams allowed. One thing for sure the 08 cj has ran faster than any vehicle in history in nhra stock class, What surprised me was the 9.6xx from a 67 fairlane w a fe 427 at 3.5k# w a stick and leaf springs. Ford and robert pond has their shit together, I'm impressed. This car well idk depends on a lot of stuff; we will see. It can make whp.

As I said before cheating in nhra is a common thing since forever. You need a low nhra hp rating and put down a lot more in real time w light weight and good suspension. I was damn proud those fords have done well in the top classes of stock nhra. Been a long time since a stock auto and manual has been held by a ford. A 9.4 et is like unreal imo for a nhra stock car or a 9.6 stick for that matter at 3.5k.. Back in 71 it was hi mid 12's. Ya I hope this car does ok but man it weighs a lot. Low 10's would be good.
