honda exhaust

i was wondering if anyone out there know a trick or a way to not make a honda a typical honda raspy sound! if ya got any ideas let me know! thanx

Multiple mufflers should do the job. Stay away from round "fart can" style mufflers. I'd say a nice oval muffler at the rear of the car, then a round magnaflow or something in the middle of the car.

It's hard to get over the raspy sounds unless you boost it or quiet it way down. It's just the way the honda heads flow, weird frequency in sounds.

my friends is straight piped - its loud as hell but imo sounds way better than the typical Honda.

My camera makes it sound worse than it is - at idle/low RPM's a lot of people have made the comment it has a subaru sound to it :P

Either way you'll never be able to get completely rid of the typical honda sound :/

the way i got rid of mine was to turbo it. sounds alot better.

i used a glasspack as a resonator before my mufflers on my gtp and it worked well to get rid of the rasp...

well i did an the exhaust during the weekend i did 2.25 piping used stock cat with cheap ebay headers and a fart can that is post be pretty good and it actually sounds good no raspy noise at a idle it reminds me of a dsm. will post pics soon and hopefully a video let me know what u guys think! thanx

Mine wasn't too raspy, i had a 'racing cat', resonator, muffler, fart can. The fart can was added last and actually did quiet it down a bit.

Quality aftermarket exhaust sound good, like Greddy, Apexi, DC, etc... IDK what companies are still around anymore, cars are gay.

The easiest, most effective, anti-buzz is a turbo.
