So yea thats about it for now but I dont think it looks to shabby considering a punk kid such as myself did all the work in my own garage with minimal tools and a frw friends....

I havnt even got to use it yet and i know i love it! ive got his front suspension minitubs and rearend and suspension!

Looks good man! I was starting to wonder if you gave up on this or something?! Im glad to see you didnt go with a locker, it will be alot safer and predictable with that spool in there thats for sure. That rear end and suspension set-up is awesome, gotta feel good knowing its basically bullet proof

yea im trying to do it all bulletproof... we will see how that goes haha. I havnt stopped workin on it i just dont have a ton of money and i have no time what so ever so its tough ive got more done on little stuff not worth talking about like brakes and that crap but the rear is the first real work ive got done in awhile. Im still gonna do a locker with a street gear but the spool will be in for the track.

I just bought the black welds not too long ago for my car, only got 1 trip to the track and about 75 street miles on them! I've been thinking about sending mine in to get them installed but Im afraid it wouldnt help and actually cost alot of money to go slower.

Some pics of the cage dropped through the floor so we can get good welds all around the top of the cage. Can't tell you how many cages I have looked at that when you feel around the top of the tubes they have no weld whatsoever on them.

thanks Scott! it will be show worthy nice someday... but it may have to go this season with a primer hood and the ugly flames... and the interior i have no freakin idea what to do! haha there are bars everywhere! may have to bite the bullet and just take it to a interior shop and let them pretty it all up. That will be a last priority though. i dont care what it looks like inside or out as long as its pullin hard down the track!

Looks good though man. And don't worry about not being as fast as the other guys just yet..once you get a car going straight down the track the motivation to get it going faster is inevitable. Looks like you've laid some fantastic groundwork!

Plan on keeping the sunroof?

They are 325s but by the suggestion of Dave Zimmermin they are on custom 12inch wide wheels so they are stretched real nice and look huge haha

And yeah thats the Sniper at Nightmaremotorsports.com scott has a million pics of it on his website if your intrested. He does all the stuff im not capable of like welding and what not.. he is south teams version of the twins haha

Thanks. I love the wheels. Wasnt sure bout the fronts till they were on but now i love them. And sparkless if i shoved money at nightmare like the vipers do mine would get dont alot faster but scott does work for me pennies on the dollar so no time complaints here. Not to mention he waited months on me to get parts while he kept my car inside his shop after i lost my shop!!

Thanks newgen its my pride and joy had it since highschool and its become twice the car i ever imagined thanks to nightmare motorsports! His works way out of my talent level. The car was a n/a carbed 347 ran 7.30s on pump drivin to track.

Cage was done strictly overkill to avoid ever doing it again. Shit load of work and it was all torn down for the 8.50 cage so we upgraded..

Seriously what is getting up Derek's vag so bad? Sounds & looks to me like an easily streetable and clean build.

Start of winter isnt all of it.. this convo has come up multiple times about my car winter and not in tge winter.
