View Full Version : 92 GMC Jimmy SLE 4x4, $450 obo

Alright I need to get rid of this because I finally got a truck and don't need 3 cars sitting around.

Specs:
-4.3v6 motor (non vortec) with 122,000 miles
-push button 4x4 low/high and 2wd (works perfectly)
-power everything
-new all season tires
-recent alignment
-new alternator
-recent tune-up (wires, plugs, distributer cap, air filter, etc.)
-Digital dash all works (rare)

Good:
Reliable as can get. Starts every single morning without a hick-up. Even in negative degree weather it starts right up. A/C works, but needs re-charged. Heat works great. 4x4 works great. Interior is really clean. Tires are new.

Bad:
Plenty of rust but not falling part or anything. Driver's window doesn't roll down, i think the motor is burnt out. The cd player faceplate was stolen, so either needs a new faceplate or a radio. Muffler has a leak in it, nothing crazy it's not obnoxious or anything but should probably be replaced, I wasn't planning on it because it doesn't really bother me.

That's about it. It runs great and the 4x4 works. Great vehicle to just have as a daily beater to get you through the winter.

Nah no trades. I'm getting a truck so I just need to gr rid of it. I'd keep it but I don't want 4 cars at my house.

I was thinking the same thing... but then I offered him $350 so... LOL but I am cheap and really have no use for it :biggrin:

Yea I just can't go that low. It's stupid cheap right now and I think $450 is a fair price.

I wrecked my laser and it doesn't look like I'll be able to foot the $500 bill to fix it.

Currently driving with no heat / big hole in my firebird's floor - so I may be interested.

Well it actually turned out to be a lower control-arm needs replaced - just found that out tonight.

My step-dad and me are going to go to the junkyard tomorrow and see if this DSM we took the power steering pump out of a year ago is still there and has the driverside one in good working order... hopefully

Last time I was at K's Acres (about 2-3 weeks ago) they had a couple 1G's

so far i really dig the truck. spent an hour cleaning the interior- looks like Trevor's pup rode in the back a lot. i think im going to start calling the truck "Big Jimmy Walker".
