Dustin's o2 housing/partial downpipe for his truck

Dustin came to me wanting an o2 housing for his 4g63 truck project and we threw some ideas around and came up with this:

It's all 304l stainless and has the new Tial MV-S wastegate which includes v-bands. The v-bands allow for an easy install and a wide range of adjustment for the dump tube location. Once Dustin gets it on we will get some installation pictures, then when he decided to finish his exhaust we will mate it up with the downpipe.

Looks badass!! I love your fab work, top notch stainless welds thats for sure. I have done a partial set of headers for my car and its not that easy. What does he do to purge the inside the of pipe when he welds??

You have to partially seal the piece you are welding and fill it with argon gas. You have to gradually let some escape however, how we do it or the details...well I can't tell ya that :)

usual is $70/hr but it sometimes depends on the job.

Yea we are just doing it on the side right now, but the plan is to go full time eventually.
