I have a 1996 Chevrolet S10 with the 4.3 liter engine. It has 244,XXX miles.

The good...
-Brand new starter
-Brand new fuel pump
-New transmission oil filter
-3 inch lift kit
-4X4
-Aftermarket sunroof
-Tinted windows
-Aftermarket Sony CD player
-Extended cab
-Automatic
-Plastic bedliner
-AC and heat work awsome
-Clean title

The not so good...
-Typical rear cab rust
-The driverside airbag is gone
-Small leak in the right rear brake line
-Driverside door lock does'nt unlock from outside
-Dents and dings here and there
-Tires will need new ones after a few thousand miles

Colton those are some high miles but think about my 97 S10... it is about 190,000 now and changed the fuel pump and filter twice. The 4.3L seemed to be a well built motor... who knew?

Of course its a good motor! Its 2 Cyl short of a 350! They are damn near undestroyable.

i will try and take some pics tomarow and email them to you. I am super busy today but I will try tomarow. Also I just replaced the transmission oil filter because it was black and the transmission was slippinga little bit but sence I changed it it seems to run fine. otherwise it has ran verywell for me in the time i have drivin it.
