Wondering how much tohave this made out of 1/2" 6061-T6 aluminum and polished to match the rest of my March brackets? I want to lower the alternaot in the RX7 quite a bit in the engine bay so I have to make something up...

This is the actual size of the bracket (roughly 8"x4.5", I held my cardboard cut-out up to the screen and traced it). I will obviously have to get you the measurements on the holes if you do it but I figured that would be enough for an estimated cost. Obviously wanting the edges rounded, and everything the same width etc... this was just a quite paint up I did so...

here are the other brackets I have which I am trying to make this one kind of "blend in" with. I can bring the other alt bracket (as pictured below) in so you can see it and use it as some what of a "template" as far as the width of the cross of the "bars" and how far to counter sink the holes etc...

I'll check on some prices for the aluminum and get back to you tomarrow Keith. That will definatly not be a problem if I have all thr measurements.

Sweet... I still have a good hookup from when I was a fabricator at All State Steel so I can get the material pretty cheap if not free depending on your cost... I know I can get 1/2" thick by 6"x12" for <$20 since I've purchased it once before when I was working on the Bronco...

forgot to mention the holes will be like 5/16" and the counter sinks are 7/16" IIRC... Thanks for the speedy response! If things go well (and I am sure they will) I have some other stuff I will need done since I have limited access to the A.S.S. shop now.
